Oak

Oak sawlogs III. - IV. quality

• Material type: pedunculate oak (Quercus robur), sessile oak (Quercus petraea) and Turkey oak (Quercus cerris)
• Length: 2,400 mm, 3,000 mm and 3,600 mm
• Oversize: min. 100 mm, max. 200 mm
• Diameter: 250 mm at the upper part, max. 800 mm
• Quality: firm and healthy, no longitudinal cracks or twisting, single-sided twisting up to 2%. Healthy knurrs unlimited, rotten knurrs UNacceptable.
• Measuring: standard error bonification, bark removal 2-4 cm (the same applies in case of unhealthy sapwood)
  
  

Oak sawlogs, III. - IV. quality, for sleepers in underground use

• Material type: pedunculate oak (Quercus robur), sessile oak (Quercus petraea) and Turkey oak (Quercus cerris)
• Length: 4.000 mm net
• Oversize: min. 100 mm, max. 200 mm
• Diameter: 180 mm - 240 mm throughout the length of the sawlog
• Quality: firm and healthy, no longitudinal cracks or twisting, single-sided twisting up to 4%. Perpendicular endings on both sides Healthy knurrs unlimited, rotten knurrs UNacceptable.
• Measuring: standard error bonification, bark removal 2-4 cm (the same applies in case of unhealthy sapwood)
  
  

Pedunculate oak sawlogs, II. - III. quality

• Material type: oak (Qurcus robur and Quercus petraea)
• Length: from 2,600 mm to 4,900 mm net (100 mm increments)
• Oversize: min. 100 mm
• Diameter: 350 mm at the upper part, max. 800 mm
• Quality: firm and healthy, no longitudinal cracks or twisting, single-sided twisting up to 4%. Perpendicular endings on both sides Healthy knurrs unlimited, rotten knurrs UNacceptable.
  
  

 Spruce

Spruce and fir sawlogs

• Material type: spruce, fir (Picea abies and Abies alba)
• Length: 4,000 mm or 8,000 mm net
• Oversize: for 4,000 mm of length min. 100 mm oversize, for 8,000 mm of length min. 200 mm oversize
• Diameter: 200 mm at the upper part, max. 800 mm
• Quality: healthy firm wood, no dry or wet rot, no fallen knurrs, healthy knurrs unlimited. Perpendicular endings on both sides
  
  

Oak sawlogs - bark beetle

• Material type: spruce (Picea abies)
• Length: 4,000 mm or 8,000 mm net
• Oversize: for 4,000 mm of length min. 100 mm oversize, for 8,000 mm of length min. 200 mm oversize
• Diameter: top diameter from 200 mm onwards, proportional sawlog diameter;
• Quality: healthy firm wood, no dry or wet rot, no fallen knurrs, healthy knurrs unlimited. Up to 20 mm blue stain diameter. Perpendicular endings on both sides

• Material type: spruce, fir (Picea abies and Abies alba)
• Length: 4,000 mm;
• Oversize: min. 100 mm, max. 200 mm;
• Diameter: 180 – 220 mm throughout the length of the sawlog;
• Qalityu: healthy firm wood, no dry or wet rot, no fallen knurrs, healthy knurrs unlimited. Up to 20 mm blue stain diameter.
